Forged brass truck valves are high-pressure, corrosion-resistant control components specifically designed for the fluid systems of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles. They are manufactured using a hot-forging process that forms brass billets under high pressure, resulting in superior strength and density compared with cast valves. These valves are widely used in truck cooling, fuel, braking, and hydraulic systems.

Forged brass truck valves are valve bodies manufactured using a forging process—where brass is heated to a plastic state and then formed under high pressure in a die—which eliminates porosity, shrinkage cavities, and other defects compared with casting. This results in a denser microstructure and higher strength, making forged brass valves particularly well suited for the harsh operating conditions encountered in trucks.

Characteristics and Advantages of Brass

Common brass grades used in truck valves include HPb59-1 (lead brass) and H62 (common brass), which possess the following characteristics:
Excellent corrosion resistance: resistant to freshwater, oils, and non-acidic chemicals, suitable for a wide range of fluid media in trucks.
Good mechanical properties: moderate strength, excellent toughness, and resistance to vibration fatigue.
