Grs Gas Check Valve
The non-return gas valves prevent creeping and surges while the flame-arresting valves additionally prevent flashbacks.
They are used to secure gas tapping points at which gas units or firing systems are operated and it is not possible to prevent the return of gas into the air/oxygen line or of air/ oxygen into the gas line (inflammable mixture) by constructive means.Non-return gas valves thus prevent the formation of inflammable mixtures.
The pressure of the gas under flow conditions lifts the valve disk off the seat against the closing force of the spring.The valve interrupts the flow of gas as soon as the outlet pressure Pa rises to a higher value than the inlet pressure Pe-Pmin.
