Instrument valves are critical fluid-control components in industrial automation process control, characterized by high precision and tight sealing. They are specifically designed to regulate, control, and isolate gaseous, liquid, or steam media in piping systems, thereby ensuring the accurate operation of measuring instruments and control systems.

Classification by Drive Type

Manual instrument valve: operated by a handwheel, with a simple structure and low cost, suitable for applications that do not require automatic control.

Pneumatic instrument valves: powered by compressed air, with fast response and explosion-proof safety, widely used in the chemical and petroleum industries.

Electric instrument valve: motor-driven, with high control accuracy and remote precise adjustment, suitable for highly automated systems.

Hydraulic Instrument Valve: hydraulically actuated, with high output torque, suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter applications.

Special-function instrument valve

Root Valve: Directly installed on the process piping as the first isolation valve in the instrumentation system.

Bleed Valve: Used to discharge impurities and gases from the pipeline, ensuring measurement accuracy.

Balance Valve: Used to balance system pressure and enhance control stability.

Manifold Valve: Integrates multiple valve functions (such as two-valve manifolds, three-valve manifolds, and five-valve manifolds), simplifying installation and reducing the number of potential leak points.
